Alejandra Gorriti (1969, Salta – Argentina)
After a brief experience with graphic novels (Histoire de Wilhem, Les Enfants Rouges Éditions, 2023), she began attending the Altaira School of Art, run by the painter Xurxo Martiño, in Santiago de Compostela. In 2025, she began and developed the Shadows series, in which the figures are constructed with fragmented transfers of text on a background of brightly colored acrylic, creating a disturbing contrast, an uncomfortable shadow hovering over a pop universe.
