Artist Statement
Each artwork is an internal discourse revealed through its breaks and interruptions.

The transfers from paper to canvas, worn and imperfect, construct an emotional and uncomfortable shadow suspended over an acrylic background of vibrant colors and pop prints. Each shadow, laden with fragments of text, appears maladjusted to its surroundings, creating an atmosphere of unease and disturbance, a symptom of vulnerability or an enigma.

The works on paper range from pop art to children's book illustrations, with collage and watercolor pencils accentuating this idea. They show a story that is unknown but can be suspected or suggested by certain details. The true story is the one we tell ourselves.
